James Street North is a historic main street in Hamilton which has been undergoing gentrification since the early 2000s. An audio road map created in Whitesburg, Kentucky, a place in the Appalachian mountains where twisty mountain roads and road signs which don't match maps almost guarantee that the driver won't get to where she is going. A rich tapestry of local voices describing how to get to their house together with signature sounds from the area create an entirely new sense of place and a fun sense of disorientation.
